The ICFAI University, Meghalaya is committed to provide new career-oriented educational programs at the Bachelor's and the Master's degree levels. It offers full-time programs in Business Administration, Computer Applications and Hospitality & Tourism Management.

Objectives

Programs offered at the ICFAI University, Meghalaya

The University offers the following full-time programs at Tura and Shillong, Meghalaya.

UG Programs 

• BBA : 3 years   

• BCA : 3 years

• BHTM : 3 years

Eligibility

Pass in 10+2 with aggregate 40% and above (any discipline). Final year 10+2 students awaiting results.

PG Program (only at Shillong)

MBA : 2 years

Eligibility 

• Graduation in any discipline with 45% and above aggregate marks.

• Final year degree students awaiting results.

Semester System

The University follows the semester system of education for all the programs. Each academic year consists of two semesters and a summer term. Internal evaluation, mid-semester and end-semester examinations are conducted for each semester.

Elective Courses

The academic structure of the program provides students with an opportunity to choose elective courses from across the courses offered by the University. The actual offering of the electives will however depend on a certain minimum number of students opting for the same elective. 

Awards

Students who successfully complete the Program will be awarded the relevant Degree by the University, subject to University regulations.

Medals

Students scoring the first rank and the second rank on completion of their Program will be awarded Gold and Silver medals respectively.

Merit Scholarship

The University awards a number of Merit Scholarships every semester based on the student's academic performance for each program. Details will be available in Student Handbook.

Student Handbook

Each student will be supplied with a Student Handbook which contains all the Rules and Regulations of the respective programs, including detailed curriculum, academic calendar, etc.
