ICFAI University’s Political Science Department has an active and lively student life, supplemented with a host of co-curricular activities, associations and organizations. The political science society offers students the chance to interact with leading political analysts and practitioners through debates, panel discussions, guest lectures among others. Through our Model United Nations (MUN) Club, students are able to participate in simulated international diplomacy thus improving their negotiation skills and public speaking ability.
Graduates from the Political Science Department at ICFAI University are versatile and competent in different fields, which guarantee them many job opportunities. Numerous graduates follow government and public administration route where they participate in policy-making, public services and diplomatic assignments. Many others choose to work for international organizations like the UN, World Bank, and NGOs where they confront global problems and fight for fairness.
Political analysts, consultants or PR specialists are few of the many roles that political science graduates can easily fit into within corporate world. In addition to this, a number of these graduates further their studies in law so that they may become legal practitioners such as advocates and legal advisers among others.
