- Tourism is one of the world’s fastest growing industries as well as the major source of foreign exchange earnings and employment for many developing countries.
- Tourism is vital to the well being of many countries, because of the income generated by the consumption of goods and services by tourists, the taxes levied on businesses in the tourism industry and the opportunity for employment and economic advancement by working in the industry.
- The Department of Tourism and Travel Management constitute of two programs, viz., Bachelor of Tourism & Travel Management (BTTM) and Master of Tourism & Travel Management (MTTM).
- The programs are designed to inculcate students with knowledge and skills required by the tourism and travel industry.
- The Department focuses on studies and practices of managing tourism and travel related activities.
- It offers students a comprehensive understanding of the tourism industry, covering areas such as event management, destination management, hospitality, financial accounting, human resource management, travel services, tourism planning, etc. as well as providing opportunities for exposures into organizations, companies, stakeholders involved in providing products and services in this field with the aim to prepare students for a career, qualities and etiquettes demanded by the tourism industry.

Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management [BTTM]
The Bachelor of Travel & Tourism Management (BTTM) Program is designed in such a way to prepare students for such managerial positions as required by the industry. The program will also be beneficial for those who wish to start their own business in the field of tourism/hospitality sectors.

Pass in Class XII (any discipline)
* Students awaiting their Class XII results are also eligible to apply.
Program Structure
The BTTM program consists of 44 courses covered in 8 semesters spread over 4 years. Students are additionally required to undergo for a summer internship during the Year I and a skilled-based vocational course during the Year II respectively.
Masters of Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM)
The Masters of Travel and Tourism Management (MTTM) Program prepares students for managerial positions as required by the Tourism Industry, which is one of the fastest growing industries in the world. It has found a place in generating massive foreign exchange revenue. The program will equip students with entrepreneurship skills in the field of tourism administration.

Eligibility
Pass in Graduation in any discipline with 45% and above aggregate marks.
*Final year degree students awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
Program Structure
The MTTM Program is organized into 4 semesters in 2 years. There are 27 courses including Soft Skills and Management theses.

French or German (to be decided by the University on availability of Faculty)
